Restok ยท Last updated 18 August 2026
Restok is a free shopping list app. These terms are the short version of what you can expect from us and what we ask of you. Using the app means you're happy with them.
There's nothing to buy, no subscription, and no ads. We'd like to keep it that way, but we're not promising it will stay free forever โ if that ever changes, it won't change retroactively for a version you already have.
We claim no ownership of anything you type into Restok. Your list lives on your phone; see our Privacy Policy for the one feature that sends text off your device and what happens to it.
Because your list is stored only on your phone, keeping it is up to you. Deleting the app deletes the list, and we have no copy to restore.
The paste-cleanup feature runs on a server we pay for, so we ask that you use it as intended: from the app, for your own lists. Please don't script it, hammer it, or try to route other software through it. There's a daily limit per installation, and we may limit or block use that's clearly abusive.
Restok is provided as-is. We've tried hard to make it reliable, but we can't promise it will be free of bugs, always available, or that the cleanup feature will sort every item the way you would have. Don't rely on it for anything where a mistake would be costly.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from using the app โ including a lost or mis-sorted list. Nothing here limits liability that can't legally be limited.
We may update the app, change how the cleanup service works, or discontinue it. If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. You can stop using Restok whenever you like by deleting it.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
